Analysis of flood conveyance capacity of small- and medium-sized river and flood managements

Recent years have witnessed great losses caused by floods due to the unknown of rivers’ flood conveyance capacities, which make it difficult for management. In particular, capacities small- and medium-sized rivers are usually designed meet with a return period 10 but these not been paid enough attention. After scouring siltation, unknown, disasters reservoir discharge unpredictable. The aim this research is set standardized process find out actual rivers. hydrodynamic model constructed calibrated evaluate river’s capacity. design data used simulation, capacity river channel evaluated combined situation river. Then water level observation points settled, dynamic can be represented real-time assessment risk done.
